This beautiful publication is saying it's last goodbye on August 31 at 11:59 MST (tomorrow!) to make new for the Holiday Expressions publication that will debut on September 1. If there is anything you want or need (hard keeping those two straight sometimes!), get it now! Here's a link to view this beautiful publication page by delicious page (scroll down a bit, the first book you see is the annual book and that one is still good through July 2017. The Expressions II is a just below that.), and here's a link to the shopping portion of my website to get your goodies. Happy shopping!

First of all, THANK YOU to everyone who helped me celebrate my 50th birthday by ordering on my website Saturday with my birthday special! Enjoy your freebies. If you ordered on Saturday and have not yet emailed me with your choice of freebies, please do so today (email@example.com).
Secondly, Halloween is just around the corner (Seriously! If your time experience is like mine, if you blink, it will be here!). The August Stamp of the Month (Purrfect Halloween) is the perfect set to start getting those cute Halloween cards and treats ready, and perfect after Halloween to use to scrap those awesome pics you took of you, your kids, or your grandkids in costume. Or if you're a tad behind, use it now to scrap last year's pics!
This set is only available in August and is only $5 ($12.95 savings) with every $50 you order (before shipping and tax). Order $100, get 2...and so on. When ordering on my website, you'll be prompted to add your set(s) before checking out. Easy, peasy!
Artwork tip: See that cute "Boo!" background stamping? It's just the 'boo' stamp from the set. To get this look, take a word stamp and stamp a row across the top of the card. If you have a ruler handy, line it across to help you stay straight. The second row, you'll do the same thing but stagger those so that they don't line up exactly with the stamps in the first row. Move on to third row, stagger again, etc. It's a quick and easy way to create a uniform but fun background with a single word stamp.
I've included a list of the products I used, as well as photos and links for your convenience, at the end of this post.

It's a hard pill to swallow, but my 50th birthday is this Saturday. Yep, I'm hitting the half century mark. My hubby asked me last night if there was something special I wanted to do to celebrate and I said, "Yes! Let's do nothing and pretend it isn't really happening!"
The fact of the matter is that it is happening, so we might as well celebrate, right? There are four numbers of importance in play here: I turn 50 on AUGUST (Month 8) 27, and I was born in 1966. Here's how the special works....
50: Spend $50 or more (hint: if you take advantage of the Basically the Best special, you'll automatically qualify!) on my website on....
27: the 27th of August (this Saturday, my birthday)
and you can choose one of these for FREE:
8: A Bunch of Love stamp set (C1647) on page 8 of Expressions II (which, by the way expires on August 31, so get whatever you want from this publication by August 31)
OR66: All 3 of the stamps on page 66 of the new Annual Inspirations Catalog (Little Leaves-M1150, Dandy-M1151, and Wreath-A1193).
All you need to do is place your order on my website on Saturday, August 27, then email me no later than Sunday, August 28 (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let me know if you want the free option 8 or free option 66. Your 50th Birthday FREEBIE will come separately from your order.

I know we've been talking a lot about the Fundamentals papers this month because of the Basically the Best Fundamentals special (I'll remind you how that works again in just a minute), but have I really taken the time to introduce you to our Color of the Year, Seaglass? If I haven't, I have been remiss because it is GORGEOUS (swoon!). I will be sharing several thank you cards today that mix papers from the Basic Fundamentals (some from Rustic Home, some from Uptown, and even some from Memo). Don't worry, I'll include a list of the products used, complete with photos and links for your convenience, at the very end of this post.
The 6" x 6" thank you card you see at the top of the post, just incorporates little touches of Sea Glass. It also uses papers from the Rustic Home Basic Fundamentals and the Uptown Basic Fundamentals. I embossed the sentiment in white on Black Cardstock.
Before I share a bit more artwork, let me just show you the beautiful Sea Glass products:
Don't you just love those Basic Fundamentals? Well, you can get either the Rustic Home or Uptown packages for FREE this month with the Basically the Best special.
